Who has to sign the Interlocal Agreement?
Often times the Interlocal Agreement will need to be signed by a city council, county commission or Board of Directors. However, in some situations, a city manager, county ccmmissioner or executive director has the administrative authority to execute the agreement. You will need to follow your entity’s guidelines regarding whose signature authority you need to obtain. The NCTCOG Deputy Executive Director will be executing the agreement for our organization.
