Who has to pass the background check?
Every intern who is invited to join the OST Internship Program and would like to accept the offer at the Embassy of Austria is required to pass the background check in order to apply for the US visa. Once the background check is satisfactorily completed, the OST sends the necessary documents to the intern, who can then apply for the A2 Visa at the American consulate in Vienna.
