Who has the right to collect unpaid overtime?
Any employee who feels that they are not being fairly compensated for the hours they are putting in may deserve overtime. If you are working more than 40 hours a week and your employer is not paying you overtime, you may be entitled to compensation. Many employers will tell employees that they do not qualified for overtime, but this may not be the case. Movie theater workers, computer programmers, and marketing and business employees may all qualify for paid overtime.
