Who has the Northampton Community College named as the new mens basketball coach?”
Northampton Community College has named Kevin Foley as the new head coach of its men’s basketball team, a news release from the school says. Foley, after leading the Lehigh-Carbon Community College program for four years, replaces Tyrone Wright, who became coach in May 2006. Wright announced his resignation June 9. He led “a resurgence of Northampton basketball, compiling a 71-19 record during his three years at the helm, advancing to three consecutive Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference (EPCC) final fours,” a news release says. Wright continues to serve as a student success counselor at NCC. Foley’s record at LCCC was 70-45, and the school won its first Eastern Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference championship last season, the news release says.
