Who has published reports based on the GRI Guidelines?
To date, 950 organisations in the auto, utility, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, financial, telecommunications, transport, energy and chemicals sectors, among others, in addition to public authorities and non-profits, have published reports that adopt part or all of the Guidelines. A list of reporters known to be using the GRI, including public agencies, can be found on the GRI website. Many public agencies have reported on the benefits of sustainability reporting to their overall operations. For example the Australian Government Department of the Environment and Heritage (DEH) described its sustainability report was ‘part of our commitment to continuously improve the sustainability of our operations. It is also consistent with our position of encouraging other organisations to report.
