Who has Necromancy?
While the Giovanni were famous for their use of Necromancy, several other 2nd edition bloodlines also had Necromancy: • The Samedi had Necromancy, as well as their own Thanatosis Discipline. It was rumored that the Samedi were descended from the Cappadocians, thus their knowledge of the Giovanni’s Necromancy. • A Lasombra off-shoot called the Kiasyd had Necromancy. Originally they were normal Lasombra, but they used ritual magic combining fae blood with what was supposed to be the blood of a “god of the underworld.” This ritual happened 700 years before the time of the Dark Ages. The infusion of the blood of an underworld god is supposedly the link to Necromancy. • Long before the Tremere transformed themselves into vampires, a death cult performed a similar ritual to become the bloodline called the Nagaraja. Have been a cult of necromancers they quickly developed their own Discipline of Necromancy as well as the Discipline of Nihilistics. With the release of the Revised Edition of VTM
