Who has made a bigger mark in Wrestling History, The Undertaker or Shawn Michaels, why?
Personally, I like Shawn Michaels better, but I’d have to say The Undertaker. It wasn’t his fault, but Shawn Michaels was gone for four years with his back injury, and The Undertaker was a major star in his absence. Now, I’m not the biggest Atitude Era fan, but I will admit that it is probably the most popular and well know time periods in wrestling. Those four years that HBK missed were crucial years. Steve Austin, The Rock and Triple H are considered to be some of wrestling’s biggest legends because of those years. If Shawn had been able to stick around then, and have real programs with those guys, then I’d probably say Shawn is the bigger star, but he got hurt. Another reason why I think that The Undertaker is so huge is because he stuck with WWE through thick and thin. He joined them in the early 90’s and he stayed. He never flip flopped between WWE and WCW when the Monday Night Wars were in full swing, he didn’t pressure Vince for title runs or backstage politick. He stayed loyal
