A. The Division has limited jurisdiction over natural gas pipelines as defined in Ohio Administrative Code Rule 1501:9-10-01. The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio, Consumer Services Department, Nuclear and Gas Pipeline Safety Division at (614) 644-8983, investigates all intra/interstate gas pipeline inquiries for possible referral to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Pipeline Safety. All other intra/interstate liquid pipeline inquiries (i.e., crude oil or any other refined products), should be referred to the U.S. Department of Transportation, Office of Pipeline Safety Central Region, 911 Walnut Street, Kansas City, Missouri 64106; telephone (816) 426-2654.
