who has experience with an internal communications approach to implement a diversity strategy?
Dear Huib, This is a great question. I’m not sure their is a golden rule to approach internal communications to implement a diversity strategy, perhaps you will invent it yourself. Having implemented a diversity strategy I’m had a multi-tiered approach: 1) Set goals, understand what you want from the diversity strategy. 2) Provide diversity training to as many employees as possible. Set up simulations where people can really learn and appreciate others point of view. 3) Have a clear communications strategy – use every company medium you can to promote the news including the web-site. 4) See if you can incorporate the diversity strategy into each employees yearly goals and objectives. 5) Track your success. I hope this helps.
