Who has been to Wales- some beautiful scenery- and very friendly people?

I live in Senghenydd in Caerphilly which is in South Wales, for the most part yes the scenery is very nice and yes the people are very friendly (i’m married to a Welsh girl) sadly as with everywhere you do get idiots (mainly in North Wales and the South Wales Valleys). In North Wales people will speak to you in Welsh and refuse to converse in English even if you speak to them in English, In the Valleys people can be very very anti English (i’ve come across this many times personally as a Londoner), the best places are the big towns and cities, i used to work in a pub in Cardiff (The Albany, in Roath) i met some fantastic people in there and really enjoyed working during 3 six nations tournaments ( two of which when Wales won the Grand Slam.
