Who has been a member of Midnight Express?
The founding members of Midnight Express were Randy Rose, Dennis Condrey, and Norvell Austin. The group wrestled in the Alabama territory in 1981. In late 1981 they moved to the Memphis territory but by 1982 they returned to Alabama. During the year 1983 a few other wrestlers came and left the Midnight Express including, the Midnight Stallion, Ron Starr, Rick Harris, Wayne Ferris, and the original three members. In late 1983 Dennis Condrey left Alabama and joined Mid-South Wrestling where he formed his own Midnight Express with teammate Bobby Eaton and manager Jim Cornette. While the original Alabama version of Midnight Express disbanded in 1984, the Mid-South version were very over with the fans and has success in World Class and NWA in 1985. In early 1987 Condrey left NWA and was replaced by Stan Lane. In late 1987 Dondrey returned with Randy Rose as the “Original” Midnight Express and were managed by Paul E Dangerously.
