Who handles the Operation Purple camp selection process?
The camps handle the selection process based on our criteria of deployment (September 2008 through December 2009). Host camps also base selections on service branch, multiple deployments, previous attendance to Operation Purple camp, age and gender of children. This ensures that camper slots are evenly distributed in order to serve the widest variety of children possible.
