Who gets to live in the Chapter House, and how much does it cost?
The Chapter House provides a home like living environment and is the center for Chapter activities. Living in the Chapter House is considered a privilege. The Chapter House holds 31 women. Non-resident members are encouraged to come down to the house as often as possible. The University requires freshman and sophomores to live in the dorms. Tri Delta requires all Chapter Members who are not required to live in University housing to live in the Chapter House if space is available. Tri Delta does not allow members to live in the chapter house on anything other a full year contract. If you are planning on going abroad in your junior year, you will either have to live in University housing or “match up” with a member who is going abroad on an alternating semester. We have many juniors who “match up” each year.
