WorldconneX is funded by Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) churches that select the TX World Missions Initiative option as part of their Cooperative Program giving. When churches give to the Cooperative Program through the BGCT they choose one of three worldwide options: SBC, CBF or BGCT Texas World Missions Initiative (TWMI). Each church can determine how much, if any of their Cooperative Program gifts, goes to these different funds. In 2009, WorldconneX has allocated 20% of the funds it receives to help BGCT churches send their own missionaries long term.
