Institutional subscriptions for Red Book Online provide access for a selected number of concurrent users. Each institution selects an appropriate number of concurrent users to purchase for their institution. Any user connecting from an authorized computer on your institutional network will be allowed access to Red Book Online until the concurrent user “ceiling” is reached. • What is an Institution? For the most part, an Institutional Subscription authorizes use at a localized site. A “site” is an organizational unit, and may be academic or nonacademic.
