Who Founded Taco Bell?
Taco Bell was founded by Glen Bell in 1962. He left the Marine Corps at the age of 23 and opened a hot dog stand in San Bernardino, California, selling tacos on the side. He then opened Taco Tia with tacos being the main item on the menu. Mr. Bell eventually sold Taco Tia and opened the first Taco Bell in Downey, California.
