Who evaluates the scientific value of the proposals?
The scientific review will be accomplished by an independent external body. A national panel of stem cell experts, external to New Jersey, will review the proposals submitted by New Jersey scientists and provide the Commission on Science and Technology with independent scientific evaluations of the quality of the proposed research. The panel will utilize the national standard of the National Institutes of Health peer review system for its review process.
