Who else was disappointed when they called the kids help phone?
Well, I have never called the kids help phone, but I can try to help you out. Most of the counselors that answer phones like that are not certified in any way, and are usually volunteers. Sometimes these people are even required to be there as a part of an education program, and may nessesarily not even want to be here. YOu have to keep that in mind. Also, we dont know the siutation, and you could be experiencing stress over something that seems insignificant to someone else. For instance, something that may be a big deal to you, may not be anything at all to another person. That combined with their poor training ould result in something like what hapened to you. It doesnt mean that you cant call back and try to talk to someone else, but you might try going about it in a diferent way. Talk with your school counselor and see what your options are. And, dont be frusterated because of that one bad experience, I would try to call back another time, or even ask if you can talk to the superv
