Who Else Thinks That Astrological Signs Are Pointless?
Here’s one thing that people should know about. Due to precession, which is the wobble in the earth’s axis, most people are not the astrological sign they think they are because the sun is not in that constellation on their birthday. It’s actually in the constellation preceding their astrological sign. Not only that, but the sun also passes through the constellation Ophiuchus during the latter part of November and early December but there no zodiac sign for that.
They’re not pointless. Even if they’re not true they still give people something to talk about and something to believe. Like who people believe in religion, it gives them something to believe in and something they can base their lives on, like astrology; also religion makes people believe they’re going to a good place or a bad place and astrology (if you believe in it) can tell someone if they’re going to have a good life or a bad life.
Those horoscopes in the newspapers and magazines are complete BS that just says what one wants to here. Don’t get that confused with Astrology. Plus a Sun sign, which Magazine horoscopes go by, is just a small part of ones chart. Sun is just a persons personality. The answers above me are so true, besides the ones against it. I wasn’t sure about astrology until one bored summer night i did my full in depth birth/natal/astro chart and i got details that described my soul and how i think, but put into words. It’s not something u can believe in, astrology just is. See, I’m Agnostic, i think the Bible is fake but the philosophy of being a good person to make the world a better place seems logical. To be good is to bring good, that’s just how it is. That’s like Astrology, it’s just how it is whether u like it or not. One behaves for some reason. Either negative or positive way of their signs. I also find it incredibly stupid how naive some people may be by believing star signs and the stars. Basically its all a load of rubbish, especially when it comes to love, income, fortunes and stuff. Like hand reading, and any other sort of fortune telling, astrological signs are merely there to make money out of us (magzines) and make us believe that we are being controlled by some greater thing.
