Who else hates hip hop culture, im tired of kids thinking they are black gangsters?
That’s funny, because hip hop is made more lucrative with white youth than with black youth. It’s certainly kept alive by suburbanites who cherish the MTV culture. If you don’t like it, tell your own kids to stop listening to it because they are keeping it alive. You’re “tired of kids thinking they are black gangsters” and I’m tired of kids thinking they are white hip hoppers reciting “Baby Got Back” at a whim. C’est la vie. I too hate most hip hop as it is today with the romanticizing of “thug life”, objectification of women, oversampling of good music, and materialism. But really, is Rock and Pop that much better? I think not. Get over yourself.
