WHO ELSE CAN IMMIGRATION TRY TO DEPORT?
Any person that Immigration believes is in the US without legal immigration status is at risk of being put into removal proceedings by Immigration. This includes people who enter the US illegally from Canada or Mexico, or a person who entered legally with a visa who stays in the US longer than permitted, or a person who is on a non-immigrant visa who violates the rules of his visa (for example by working when not permitted to work, or by dropping below a full course load, in the case of students).
