Who drives / chaperones at away regattas?
Parents are responsible for making travel arrangements for their sailors to away regattas. Usually, the team’s Regatta Facilitator will help orchestrate the transportation of sailors to the various venues. The list serves are often busy before an event with talk of who is going and who is driving. SailMaine coaches cannot transport sailors. The coaches and parents work together to be sure the sailors are adequately supervised at the events.
