Who does Willis Dady Emergency Shelter serve?
Willis Dady Emergency Shelter can serve up to 16 single men and 4 families at any given time. What is your criteria when admitting single men and families? In order to be admitted into Willis Dady Emergency Shelter, single men must have a photo ID. Individuals without a photo ID will not be admitted into the shleter. Families must also have photo ID for the adults and social security cards or birth cirtificates for all the children. We will admit couples who can prove that they have at least one child together and that child will be staying with them. We will admit single mothers who have a male child 11 or older and single fathers with children of any age. How long can you stay at Willis Dady Emergency Shelter? Single men are allowed to stay for 30 days and families are allowed to stay for 60 days. All stays are decided on a case by case basis and can be extended or shortend at any time without cause.
