In all of the job descriptions below, the connections with other members of the team are highlighted. One of the aims of the BBC News School Report project is to develop students’ communication and teamwork skills, mirroring what happens in a real newsroom, studio and gallery. Programme, or output editor The programme editor has overall control of the journalistic aspects of the programme.
