Who does the subtitles/dubbing?
The subtitles and dubbing are often not done by the same company/studio that produced the movie. Rather, they are done cheaply by companies that employ small-time actors (in the case of dubbing) or, in the case of subtitling, interns (who often do not have a full grasp of English) or other low-level workers going off a preliminary version of the script.
