Who does the research, writes the reports and presents the results for accreditation eligibility, candidacy and initial accreditation?
Under the leadership of Compton Center’s CEO, El Camino College’s Vice President, Compton Center, and Compton Center’s Faculty Council President, the Accreditation Steering Committee which includes students, faculty, classified staff, and administrators, has established five subcommittees to oversee organization, instruction and faculty, student services and public information, financial integrity, and planning and evaluation. These subcommittees will research, review, and assess the Compton Center’s proficiency in each of the twenty-one eligibility criteria, and provide relevant evidence demonstrating the Compton Center’s readiness to apply for accreditation eligibility.
