Who does the Office of the General Counsel (OGC) represent?
OGC represents New York University, including the NYU Langone Medical Center, all schools and departments, as well as NYU’s international sites and schools across the globe, and its other affiliates. This includes OGC’s responsibility is to advocate on behalf of the University. As a result, it advises NYU’s trustees, officers, directors, administrators, faculty and staff in their respective official capacities on issues affecting the University.
