Who does InterSearchs research?
InterSearch obtains its research using several different methods. First, it purchases data from market and audience research companies, either directly or as an end-user of commissioned research by such organizations as InterMedia and the BBC World Service. This data is sometimes reported as it is received and sometimes analyzed and reported by Robert Fortner, InterSearch’s Director of Research. Second, it completes its own research, either by direct commission to organizations such as InterMedia, or by using its own internal personnel resources–including its research consultants (Graham Mytton & Robert Fortner)–and staff made available by InterSearch member organizations. All research conducted uses standard industry procedures for sampling, questionnaire or focus group design, and analysis. InterSearch seeks the highest possible quality in all research obtained for its members.
