Like other Western countries, Greece adopts what purports to be an “even-handed” approach to the Israel-Palestine conflict. In effect, this “even-handedness” favors Israel, because the two parties in the conflict are not equal in any respect. Israel is powerful; Palestine is powerless. The Israelis are the conquerors; the Palestinians are the conquered.
