Who does Deep Vein Thrombosis affect?
As Deep Vein Thrombosis develops over time, it is therefore most common in the elderly. However, those people that are obese, tall, taking a contraceptive pill, with poor diet, who smoke, are pregnancy and don’t exercise are also at risk of Deep Vein Thrombosis. If you travel long distances, such as long haul flights, in cramped spaces you are also more susceptible to Deep Vein Thrombosis.
