Who does David Tua have to beat before the world takes notice.?
Well, David Tua defeated Friday Ahunanya by unanimous decision but beating guys like Ahunanya and Shane Cameron will only keep him big and relevant in New Zealand- if he wants to be a top-ranked heavyweight once again and actually challenge for one of the heavyweight titles, he must take on some top-ranked contenders. A third fight with Hasim Rahman would be a good start but I don’t think it would be enough to catapult him into the top 10 (maybe top 20) because Rahman is no longer considered a top heavyweight and he hasn’t been since Wladimir Klitschko drilled him in 7 rounds. A few years ago when Cristobal Arreola was undefeated and rising through the ranks, Tua was mentioned as a possible opponent for him and I still think that would be a great fight and a great opportunity for Tua to once again be a top contender in the heavyweight division since Arreola is currently ranked 6th in the world by The Ring Magazine, so a fight with the winner of Arreola-Adamek would be a great fight in
