Who does an agencys Information Security Officer (ISO) call when a security incident occurs?

0

An agency ISO, or their designated backup, must immediately call the California Highway Patrol (CHP) Emergency Notification and Tactical Alert Center (ENTAC) at 916-657-8287 to report an information security incident. ENTAC is available 24 hours each day, 7 days each week to take a report, with few exceptions. ENTAC will take the report and forward it to the California Office of Information Security and the CHP Computer Crimes Investigations Unit for further action. ISOs may be instructed to report incidents directly to the OIS under certain statewide emergency management situations, such as, Amber Alert, mass fire strikes.
