Who do you think will have the best defense in the nation this year in college football?
At least you were smart enough to put Miami, LSU, Florida… these people that are trying to tell you that USC has the best defense clearly pay too much attention to the media. USC has a good defensive unit but, come on, all the schools you mentioned are on a totally different level. I’m an LSU fan so I’d love to just say LSU (a fair statement because we’ve had some of the best defenses ever these past few years) but you can’t discount Florida and Miami that easily. Miami could be unranked again next year and STILL have a better defense than USC. It’s all about the competition, brother. Florida and LSU expect to play teams that are built, run, and coached like NFL teams. Comparitively, the PAC 10 and ACC are just scrub conferences. I’ll push and say LSU, Florida, Auburn and Alabama (Nick Saban, hate em or love em, will have the Tide ready). You can listen to real football fans or you can listen to the media loving west coasters who can’t tell a pig skin from a potato skin.
