Who do you think is most responsible for stopping cyber bullies – teachers, parents, the media or websites?

I think it’s a mixture of the above. From personal experience, I found that teachers were absolutely unhelpful. A person in my family was severely bullied (including cyber bullied) and the teachers at her school did absolutely nothing. They turned a blind eye to it and did not punish the students in anyway. The family member eventually had to change schools, as that school was totally inadequate in dealing with it. I hope that was a one off experience, but from so many news reports you see these days, you can tell that it’s not. I think parents are the most responsible for stopping cyber bullies after the victim themselves finds the courage to speak up and tell their parents what’s happening to them. Parents are usually the ones to take action to stop cyber bullying once they are aware that it’s happening.
