Who do you like in the fight between De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao?
JM: I think Oscar should win the fight with no problem. He’s about 5 inches taller. I haven’t checked the arm reach, but it’s probably about 5 inches longer. He’s stronger and his footwork might not be as fast as Pacquiao, but that’s not going to be a factor. All Oscar has to do is keep his hands up and Pacquiao will beat up his arms until Oscar hits him. And then when Oscar gets a solid hit, he will feel the power of a bigger person. I don’t think Oscar is going to be so slow where he won’t be able to hit the man. He has enough speed to hit him and hurt him. Oscar could do that with any trainer. He’s been doing this all of his life. He has the style and with his style, I think Oscar has the perfect style to drop a right hand in on Pacquiao and set him down on his behind. Pacquiao will realize that Oscar is just too big for him.
