Who do the County Councils COSHH arrangements apply to?
• All Directorates of the County Council and DSO; agencies and partnerships working with or on behalf of the County Council; • Contractors undertaking work on County Council premises, sites and systems. NOTE: With particular regard to the COSHH Regulations, the County Council will expect the contracting organisation to have undertaken risk assessments as required by the Regulations for all hazardous (as defined) substances, materials, dusts and fumes or other outputs arising from their method of use or application, and to have included in these assessments an evaluation of the likely exposure and risks to health of County Council employees, clients, pupils, visitors or the general public who may be affected during the course of the work in which the materials will be used.
