Who do so many Scottish people dislike English people ?

Although it seems many Scottish people dislike the English, it’s not really that common. Also, the people who support Scottish independence (NOT ME!) don’t necessary hate the English. I don’t understand why some Scottish people hate being part of the United Kingdom either. One of life’s greatest mysteries. Proud British/Scottish.
