Who do I help disadvantaged students who cannot afford school uniforms?
There are many ways parents, PTA and school districts help students who can not afford school uniforms. Working with local charitable organizations, having fundraisers, and creating uniform closets are just a few examples. In addition, many school districts will offer grant and voucher programs which provide economically challenged students with school uniforms. School districts call upon classroom as we understand the importance in finding school uniforms in for every student. Our experience working with districts such as the Dallas Independent School District and Toledo Public Schools has been helpful to other districts.
