With effect from 1 April 2009 Gas Safe Register replaced Corgi gas registration. Certificates issued by Corgi Registered engineers prior to 1 April 2009 are valid. However certificates dated after that can only be issued by a Gas Engineer who is on the Gas Safety Register. Practices can check if their Engineer is on the Register via http://www.gassaferegister.co.uk/. Ref : Standard 9.
