Who do I contact to get work cleaning REO homes?
Agents working with a bank/banks to sell REOs normally get one or two quotes for this work and send to the bank for approval. So the bottom line is that you will need to market yourself to real estate agents to let them know you offer this service. There are many people who do this so you would have to do something to set yourself apart from the rest. Most of the time this comes out of the realtor’s pocket and they then have to wait to be reimbursed. I would think if you offer to wait to be paid until the bank pays the realtor, that might be a selling point in your favor. Quick response time is important too.
