Please contact the King County 24/7 Road Helpline at 206-296-8100 or toll-free at 1-800-527-6237. Road Services will send out an investigator to determine the contents. For certain materials (oil, water, paint, antifreeze, etc.) we will handle the clean-up. We will coordinate with Washington State’s Spill Response Team on the clean-up of unknown substances. The state’s team will visit the site, assess the hazardous material, and depending on the danger, either they or Road Services staff will remove the barrel(s) and clean up the spill.
