Cheques from the province of Ontario are only processed once all of the relevant paperwork is received from Natural Resources Canada, which receives the paperwork from the auditor. Please contact the audit company first to ensure that the paperwork has been submitted to Natural Resources Canada. Once the auditor has submitted all of the required paperwork, Natural Resources Canada will then notify the province of Ontario that the audit has been completed and approved. Ontario will then process the payment and issue a cheque, which is now expected to take less than three weeks.
