Who dispatches LifeFlight?
LifeFlight supports the work of community hospitals, ground ambulances, and other public safety agencies. Generally, these professionals request our services. All requests for transport go through our dispatch center, MedComm. All hospital to hospital requests are screened for appropriateness by a senior emergency department physician. Scene requests are launched directly by MedComm.
