Who discovered the cure for polio?
The first trial development of the injectable polio vaccine was discovered in 1952 by a man named Jonas Edward Salk. Although another vaccine was discovered after the injectable vaccine it was an oral vaccine. The oral vaccine had caused an out break in some of the patients that took the oral instead of the injectable therefore they stopped giving the oral vaccine and went back to the injectable.
