Then, in 1513 Ponce de Leon landed his ship off Key Biscayne, named the island Santa Marta, claimed it for Spain and continued on his search for the Fountain of Youth. Too bad he didnt stay awhile…he might still be here! In modern times people from all over the world have discovered a wonderfully unique lifestyle on the tropical paradise that is Key Biscayne.
