Who dies in the 2010 Queen Vic fire?
Since Barbara Windsor is leaving EastEnders, and we know the Queen Vic burns down, speculation is rife about how many of the show’s characters may die in the inferno. The fire will see a total overhaul of the famous pub, which has been a landmark in the show for its 25 year history, and of course, Kat and Alfie Moon are due to run it when it opens its doors again. Many believe that Peggy is due to die in the fire, but it seems she may not be the only one. A show insider told the Daily Mirror, “It’s set to be a spectacular episode. No one knows yet if Peggy dies in the fire… “But they are also writing out a host of other characters, so there is a good chance someone will be killed off when the Vic burns.” Earlier this year, it was announced that several characters are being written out, including mechanic Minty, Charlie Slater and student Libby Fox.
