Who did New England get for the trade of randy moss ?
Unfortunately we gave up Randy Moss and a 7th round pick for just a 3rd rounder. I don’t know what it is about Bill Belichick and low round picks, but those things seem to be GOLD in his eyes. Just look at the “blockbuster” trade with the Chiefs last year, Matt Cassel and Mike Vrabel for only a 2nd round pick when Cassel alone should have brought 2 first rounders considering he was franchised. rael ramone: Actually, given the fact that Randy Moss has been in the league for more than 10 years, the Patriots would have only received a 5th round compensatory pick. E: Yeah a lot of people have said a 3rd rounder but it got cleared up on ESPN yesterday that it could only be as high as a 5th rounder because he has been in the league for atleast 10 years.
