Los Angeles Lakers star athlete Kobe Bryant and his wife Vanessa have filed a cross-complaint against their former housekeeper, who is currently suing the couple, in hopes to keep her from speaking to the media about their legal dispute. According to the L.A. Times, Maria Jimenez, 48, filed a wrongful termination lawsuit against the Bryants in Orange County Superior Court on March 20. Jimenez, a Peruvian immigrant, accused Vanessa Bryant of imposing degrading chores and claims that she regularly suffered through callous name-calling. The suit alleges that on one occasion Bryant shouted, “I don’t want you to touch my baby. I hired you for housekeeping, not baby-sitting,” when one of the children sought console from Jimenez.
