I don’t know if you can say Kate Beckinsale is the sexiest woman in the world or not, but I do know it’s a lot harder to say she isn’t. Esquire thinks the star of Underworld and the recent bomb Whiteout is the fairest of them all, at least for this year, and has put together a monitor-melting video crowning the magazine’s new queen. Kate Beckinsale has been named this year’s The Sexiest Woman Alive by Esquire Magazine, she covers the pages for the magazine for Nov’09 issue. Trust she is undoubtedly the hottest mom on the planet. She has taken the crown from hottie Halle Berry who was named last year’s top lady. The 36-year-old British actress known for her roles in films like Pearl Harbor (2001) and Click (2006). But, the stunner insists her brothers won’t let the new title go to her head. She wants to meet in one of those places where women meet other women for lunch, to talk forever, to eat salads and split entrées, where the sweaters are stretchy, the jewelry outsized, the purses massive and sexless, where fruity tea is served in ceramic pots. From the bench across the street, I can see this much. In the hour before we meet, twenty-three women and nary a man cross the threshold.
