Looking through the list of 40 flameouts is like a high school reunion of artists whose claim to fame is making it onto a Now! That’s What I Call Music compilation. Billboard has named Daniel Powter the One Hit Wonder of the decade. Powter’s song Bad Day was used as the American Idol goodbye song for season 5 and became the biggest single of 2006. Bad Day was featured on Daniel Powter’s self titled 2005 album along with other songs including Free Loop, Jimmy Gets High, and Love You Lately. Even with the immense popularity of Bad Day, Powter has not hit the Hot 100 with any other song.
